iGlance is a very simple and free System Monitor for your Mac, designed to show you your hardware and software setup. It is extremely customizable so almost anyone can modify it to their individual needs. The main goal of iGlance (it's parent company is Intuit) is to make sure that the average user can figure out how their computer is configured. That's why they're providing a free download of iGlance, and that's why it's free.
If you want to use iGlance as a Network Monitor for your Mac, you can add iGlance to your existing Network Monitor application and configure it with iGlance as an additional interface for your MAC. Now you have two applications that are much more complete. Not only can you use iGlance as a Network Monitor for your mac, but this new feature will also allow you to view your hardware and software setup on your windows system, so you can monitor your hardware setup, network setup, operating system type and so on.
To download iGlance, go to the source site and find the "application" download link just below the read me section. Then just go ahead and download the application to your Mac; you'll need to be connected to the internet for the download to work. When the application has been downloaded, just launch it up and click the "start" button. You'll immediately be able to see your setup in the Status Bar! It really couldn't be any easier.
